I've gotten back from business trips and vacation, and am ready to get back down to business for the Cascade QRP Club.
If you might recall, I had to again combine our November Build Day with the Breakfast, Saturday, November 12th. The breakfast is on the West side, so that shouldn't be too bad.
The breakfast starts around 9:00a and I would be back out to the WA7URV shop no later than 11:00a for the build activities.
The last couple of times, we had only 2-3 guys at the build. Here's what I propose:
1. First, if anyone on this CascadeQRP list can attend the build day, please let me know so I can prepare for it.
2. Second, I would like to extend the invitation to any other person, ham or otherwise, who would like to do one or more of the following:
a. Build something, just like we are
b. Get instructions on how to solder
c. Ask questions (and hopefully get answers) about anything with ham radio
d. Make a quick visit, meet other hams, and see what we do at these builds.
I would like to get this invitation to some of the larger clubs that many of you belong to. For instance, Everett, is there some way to get our invite out among the OTVARC membership? Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. No later than this coming Monday, I will update the flier that can be found in the Files section of our YahooGroups site. Please use that for distribution amoung any club(s).
I think it would be fun for more CascadeQRP members to be there for the build, and even more fun if we had visitors and others who are interested in what we do.
Please let me know what you think and also whether or not you plan to be with us on November 12th.

- Phil - I may be out of town for both breakfast and the build day. I will be QRP in the Medford, Ashland area, UNLESS IT SNOWS down there, then I will show up for breakfast and be an observer at build day. Hope it goes well, I missed the last one too, and its a most excellent activity. If I do not see you there, maybe see you at Swaptoberfest !! - 73 Bob KM7Q
