      >Join educators during this Follow-up session to the Introductory
      >professional development workshop on Learning Ocean Science through
      >Ocean Exploration, a curriculum developed by the National Oceanic
      >and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA's) Office of Ocean
      >Exploration. Conduct inquiry- and standards-based activities dealing
      >with light in the sea; adaptations, including bioluminescence of
      >deep sea fish; and chemosynthetic deep-sea tubeworms with Ocean
      >Exploration Facilitator Melissa Ryan. In addition, you will have the
      >opportunity to interact with 2006 MacArthur Fellow Dr. Edith Widder
      >as she provides a presentation related to her NOAA Ocean Exploration
      >deep-sea exploration and research, including her unique
      >Eye-in-the-Sea camera system.

      >Pre-registration is required and space is limited. A continental
      >breakfast, lunch, Certificate of Participation and unique take-home
      >materials will be provided to all participants. A $100 stipend will
      >be available for those who participate in both the Introductory and
      >Follow-up full-day workshops. If spaces are available, educators who
      >have not yet participated in a NOAA Ocean Exploration Introductory
