The Star Tribune like a lot of newspapers has a "good cop/bad cop" approach
to cars and sprawl.
This editorial is the good cop.
On other occasions, the Strib brings out the bad cop to beat up opposition to
highway projects. The paper opposed LRT for many years and supported the
Highway 55 expansion and more recently the 35W Excess Project .

and schools are being closed and services cut.
