For the past 5 months the National Climate Ethics Campaign has been working on a
project for the US to take climate change more seriously. A steering committee
of 27 people representing organizations of all types from across the nation
seeks to loudly proclaim that individually and collectively, the U.S. has a
moral obligation to reduce carbon emission, prepare for climate change, insist
on policies to achieve those goals, and assist the most vulnerable here and
      abroad to do the same.

The steering committee is now gathering signatures on the "Statement of our
Nation's Moral Responsibility to Address Climate Change." Please consider
signing it. After signatures are gathered the statement will be released to
government and business leaders and the media nationwide.

The statement and endorsement form can be found
      here: www.climateethicscampaign.org

      Thanks for considering this request.
