There are a few more of these, but the Santa Barbara one seems to be more
organized, beyond an informational website and expanding into rail
discounts, info leaflets at local tourist destinations, etc.
I found the Santa Barbara site a couple of years ago, via Amtrak's website,
when researching for the North American version of "Cutting Your Car Use."
The other US sites are www.smartguide.org (for Cape Cod, Nantucket and
Martha's Vineyard in Massachusetts) and
www.exploreacadia.com/guide.html(Acadia National Park, Maine).
