(I've been reading it for years, and I like to think I'm
decent.) If folks are going to spend time writing up comments,
though, it'd be better to get them to a larger audience, such
as the readerships of the papers where the articles originally
appeared. Fortunately, CommonDreams links back to the websites
of the media where the stories originated.
=v= I think website fora and listservs and such are great for
airing one's views, but we should always keep in mind that it's
possible to get sucked into an insular little electronic world
where our expression has little impact. Better to use these
fora for a first (or second) draft, then polish up our words
and send them to a larger audience!
