AABCP and InfraGard Will be Hosting a Joint Exercise on Pandemic Planning
On July 11th, the Birmingham InfraGard chapter, in conjunction with the Alabama Association of Business Continuity Planners, (AABCP) will be holding a special all-day event to help our companies and organizations prepare to deal with the possibility of a Pandemic Flu outbreak in our community.
We wanted to let everyone, both InfraGard members and other guests that this will be a special meeting to which they will possibly want to invite additional members of their company, or other people that they know who may benefit from this event.
We are inviting state and local officials to share with us, and are especially excited the InfraGard member Dr. Robert Norton from the Auburn School of Veterinary Medicine, a leading expert in Avian Flu, will be one of our featured speakers.
What we are very much looking for is local companies who might be willing to share with us about their own planning & consideration for Avian Flu.
Please feel free to forward this message to anyone that may benefit from this event.
