      Hi,
      I working on a set of ODEs
      x'=0.5*x*y+k*cos(z)
      y'=-2*g*y-(1+2*b*y)*(x^2-1)
      z'=w-0.5*a*y-k*sin(z)/x
      where a,b,g are constants. What I want to do is to find an approximation for the Hopf bifurcation , but in the (k-dw) plane.
      This can be done computationly , but I want an approximate curve(fitted) for it.
      Does anybody know the technique for this?
