EPCOT'S 2011 Flower and Garden Festival
I spent the last three days at the Flower and Garden Festival. I wanted to actually take my time and smell the roses (I know, a really rotten pun!) so to speak and see the differences from last year's festival. The 2011 Festival seemed much brighter and vibrant this year, with a host of new character topiaries and a new sponsor, cables popular HGTV. Of course, the "Flower Power" concerts are still here and the butterfly pavilion is much larger also. It's located behind Club Cool and it is themed after the classic Disney film, Bambi.

Disney Interactive Lays Off 80 Further Employees
Disney Interactive Media Group has reportedly let go of 80 employees in a series of "targeted" layoffs aimed at reorienting the company in the wake of last summer's purchase of social game maker Playdom.

Disney on a discount
Everyone wants to go to Disney. (Except for my old co-worker who ranted on and on about how evil Disney was. But she's the exception. Everyone else wants to go, right?) I go often, as in every six weeks or so. I'm gaga for Disney, but I also have two small kids and I'm a single mother. Disney is the cheapest vacation I can find.
