Dear FIT Coalition Members,
Thank you again for joining the FIT Coalition! As we mentioned a few days ago, an amended version of AB1106 has been introduced into California's Senate Energy, Utilities, and Commerce Committee. You can view the legislation and other status details by going to http://www.leginfo.ca.gov/bilinfo.html and searching for AB1106.
The FIT Coalition team has put together a letter of support for AB1106 outlining the amendments we believe are important to make this legislation truly effective. We're faxing these to Assemblymember Fuentes and the Senate Energy Committee today. The more letters that the Committee receives before its July 7th hearing, the stronger our voice will be.
Please take the attached letter templates, modify them from your own perspective and fax them before the long weekend. The letter to Fuentes should be faxed to 916-319-2139.The letter to the Senate Energy Committee should be faxed to 916-445-1389.
Also, we strongly encourage you to join us at the July 7th meeting of the Senate Energy Committee where AB1106 will be heard. The hearing starts at 9:30am in Room 3191 at the State Capitol.
Let's join our voices together and give a big boost to the most important piece of energy legislation California has ever seen!
Best Regards,Jane Higgens, Communications Director
