      Paul,
Your work has inspired many people, thank you. We had a meeting of a very conscientious group in San Diego concerned with Sustainability of our city/country/planet. Bill Powers gave a talk tonight about the history of power generation in our country and gave his dream fix, there are other very smart people in the group that also have their ideas, I would love to be able to put them in a blender and have the magic pill pop out. We are looking for an expert to speak on FITs/REPs and get us started on a Bill to present to our politicians. If you know of such a person who would like to speak before a knowledge hungry group it would be appreciated.

      George

      George,

There are many individuals working towards true FITs in the USA and many in California.

This list serve is the right one for sharing info about what is going with FITs in California and elswhere.

There are several bills in the legislature and some yet to be introduced. None will do exactly what you want.

There are a number of web sites too.

See www.wind-works. org, or www.allianceforrene wableenergy. org for starters.

      Paul

I am very new(green) to this, I hope I am at the right location. I would like to see legislation passed that will permit small energy producers(less than 1.5MW) to qualify for a FIT that will motivate them to help our country become energy independent. The link in this notice is informative but does not address my goal. Could someone please point me in the right direction.

      Thank you,

      FiT Workshop Participants,

Please be aware that my directions in the previous email on how to become a party were incorrect.  Persons who want to become parties must file a motion (see September 26, 2008 Scoping Memo in R.08-08-009 at p. 8 and OP 8: http://docs. cpuc.ca.gov/ efile/RULC/ 91381.pdf).  Questions on how to become a party may be directed to the Public Advisor’s Office ( http://www.cpuc. ca.gov/PUC/ aboutus/Division s/CSID/Public+ Advisor/).

Thank you all for your participation at yesterday’s workshop on feed-in tariff terms and conditions (FiT).  I would like to inform you of the next steps, which are different from what we had discussed at the end of yesterday’s workshop.  Instead of asking parties to meet informally, Energy Division staff is going to develop a staff proposal on FiT terms and conditions, which will be sent to the service list for R.08-08-009 in the near future.  If you are not yet a party, but would like to submit comments, please fill out the form titled “Addition/Change to Service List Formâ€ and follow the instructions, which can be found here: http://docs. cpuc.ca.gov/ published/ service_lists/ sl_index. htm.  If you are not on the service list and do not intend to file comments, you should still sign-up for the service list and select “information only.â€  All future communications regarding feed-in tariff policy will be sent to the service list for R.08-08-009.

In summary, parties will not be convening informally and all parties will have the opportunity to respond to a staff proposal on feed-in tariff terms and conditions.

      Regards,

      Jaclyn Marks
