I play the piano accordion and I need to play a song with that cajun/zydeco "sound." Can anyone point me toward a video that will help me with the fingering?

Group Description

This mailing list is dedicated to Cajun and Zydeco dance and music. This includes member discussions, postings of events, and member reviews.

Bands and promoters should feel free to post calendars and notification of events, and add links to their websites in the LINKS section.

There are two other Yahoo groups that might be of interest too:

Cajun fiddlers list, and

Rubboard players list.

This is a quasi-moderated list, mostly to keep the negativity levels down. Here are a few reasons that would trigger having your posts moderated (also, check out the unmoderated list at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/czunmod):

o No Spam. Sending SPAM to the list, or to list members offline, is not allowed and you will be reported to your ISP. If you're selling something that is Cajun/Zydeco related, include a concise ONE TIME ONLY notification to check out your website. If you're an ongoing participant, you can include a short signature line in your posts with a website pointer.

o Divisive subjects like French/English language politics, French-Canadian politics, Acadien/English politics, racial politics, religion and other cultural hot topics are not the topic here.

o No chain letters or virus warnings, puh-leeeeeeeze.

o There are so many jokes lists out there, and we've seen most of them.

o When responding to emails, please edit out all portions that do not pertain to your reply. It makes reading easier, and makes the digest less unwieldy.

o No flames. Be respectful of each other.
