Group Description

Cameroonian Brothers Association of Chicago, hereinafter referred to as CABAC is an association of people of Cameroon origin, organized under the laws of the State of Illinois and whose headquarters are located in Chicago, Illinois. It is a private organization that exists for the benefit of its members and the society.


The CABAC is a non-profit, non-partisan, education membership organization.
CABAC’s goal is to promote unity, cooperation and harmony among its members and ease their integration in the society through social, cultural, intellectual and economic activities.

Its primary missions should be:

1)To educate its membership and other African people about ALL aspects of the CABAC.
2)To provide support and advice to its members at a critical time of a crisis or happiness.
3)To promote a communication network across Cameroon and throughout the world, allowing Cameroonian people regardless of language, geographical location to share ALL information pertinent to reconstructing our traditional greatness and making a global Cameroonian union a reality.
4)To create partnership between all CABAC members and between CABAC members and other African people.
