New Camp Fair in San Francisco launches just in time for Summer!

Sports Basement and GoKid.org provide service for San Francisco parents and

      children.

Sports Basement Inc., a community-focused retailer of outdoor and sports

apparel and gear, and GoKid.org, an online resource for parents and

caregivers in San Francisco will be hosting the 2005 GoKid.org/Sports

Basement Summer Camp Fair. The fair will be held on Saturday, March 19,

2005 from 9am - 1pm in the Sports Basement Presidio Store at 610 Mason St

(next to the Crissy Field Center).

The Camp Fair will highlight camps from around Bay Area including arts,

sports, environmental, adventure and traditional day camps. The fair is

      free for attendees and exhibitors.

The Camp Fair has been well received in the Summer Camp community. With

over 800 camps in the Bay Area, camp managers are looking for alternative

ways to reach parents and children.

As part of its commitment to the community, numerous non-profit

organizations and sport clubs, Sports Basement hosts free clinics and

speakers weekly. Community partners are able to hold charity events and

educate their members at the store, while all are welcome to sit in on a

lecture ranging from: the ‘Biomechanics of Cycling,’ to ‘Geology of the San

Francisco Bay.’ Additional information about Sports Basement can be found

on the company’s website, www.sportsbasement.com. For exhibitor
