This class is open to beginner and advanced artist interested in investigating the technique of etching. Students will learn all aspects of etching including hard and soft ground etching, aquatint, sugar lift, and drypoint.
Materials needed: Etching ink, paper (Rives BFK, Arches, Stonhenge, etc.), newsprint, zinc or copper plates, etching needle.
HeyYoon Song is a Korean born artist who lives and works in the San Francisco Bay Area. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2011 with emphasis in Painting and Print-media. HeyYoon's prints and paintings have been shown nationally and internationally.

Yoga Flow aims to energize and relax the body through a series of yoga poses (asanas) and attention to breathing (pranayama). It will vary from stationery poses, to flowing movement, standing, sitting, lying, and balance poses. You will learn to link movement with breath, build a pose from the ground up, and move from your core with awareness. Suitable for all abilities, this class helps shed both emotional and physical stress while cultivating strength, flexibility, balance and mental focus.
Paz has been teaching group yoga in the U.S. and abroad for over 5 years and has 10 years of personal practice.She received her yoga teacher certification in 2007 through RYS Purusha Yoga in San Francisco, while working as a certified personal trainer and health coach. She has a rare ability to be gentle and nurturing yet strong and encouraging. She has assisted numerous yoga retreats and self-development workshops and is currently a yoga teacher as well as a self-defense instructor.

Art for Kids will provide a creative space where art, cultures and fun link together, integrating painting, collage and drawing. The creative process will be the fuel of this class. The class will help kids focus on how to be able to express and explore their creativity and encourage them to keep growing in the arts.
Denisse Ogata was born in Chihuahua, Mexico. She attended Graphic Design School. With a solid sense of graphics and her fascination for fine arts, she makes her artwork distinguishable. For the past 6 years she has resided in the hear of the Mission district, helping to guide her brushes toward the community.

A Way of Life (AWOL) Martial Arts class teaches women the necessary tools for self-defense and self-awareness through a simple and effective 90 minute training that combines martial arts, yoga and meditation. In class, you will gain confidence, strength, awareness and insight about yourself and your surroundings, all while having fun and learning to protect yourself. You will leave with a sense of personal empowerment and glowing from the inside out. No prior experience necessary.

Sumaia will teach the basic steps of belly dance: core movements with the hips, rib-cage circles, marking steps and accents, dance rhythms and tempo, shimmy with a twist (backward with hips), shimmy circles (hips), step undulations, lines and displacements, and choreographic combinations. This class is ideal for beginners and dancers who wish to deepen and clean their techniques. This class is bilingual: English-Spanish.
Sumaia is one of the most demanded and energetic Belly dancers in the Bay Area. She began her dancing career in Argentina and has been teaching Belly Dance for over 15 years. She has received brilliant reviews in regards to her performance. She has also Taught and performed at several Resorts in Argentina, Mexico, and the USA.

Circle of the Imagination Art Class for Kids will facilitate students' individual expression and appropriate use of art materials such as watercolors, acrylic paints and color pencils. Implementation of theme-based art activities related to our environment, community, etc., will motivate students to experiment with basic book structures, collage, and other art projects to aid the child's creative process in a safe and constructive environment.
Gloria Morales is a printmaker/artist from Oaxaca, Mexico. She received her BFA from the National School of Fine Arts in Mexico City. Before moving to San Francisco, Gloria taught art to adolescents, children and adults in Mexico. In San Francisco, she has worked in the education field as a teaching artist, art instructor, and TA in various venues.

This class is open to beginner and advanced printmakers working on paper and textiles. Students will learn all the aspects of screen printing from preparation of positives, to screen preparation, burning of images, registration and printing of one or multicolored images.
A Native of Salinas, CA, Amy received her BA in Art, with a concentration in Printmaking from Yale University, and her MFA in printmaking from the Rhode Island School of Design (RSD). Amy also received a collegiate teaching certificate from Brown University. She has taught at RISD, with Opera Piccola, and at Out of Site Youth Arts Center. An experienced printmaker, she learned how to screen print at the Mission Grafica with Juan Fuentes.
