      BRIEF Description: The Contemporary Jewish Museum partners with SFMOMA to present a Teacher Institute exploring how leading artists of early twentieth century Paris, such as Henri Matisse and Pablo Picasso, represented the vibrant cultural life of the day in their work. Experience the SFMOMA exhibition The Steins Collect: Matisse, Picasso, and the Parisian Avant-Garde, which reunites the collections of author Gertrude Stein, her brothers Leo and Michael, and Michael's wife Sarah. Then, get a behind-the-scenes look at Gertrude's domestic life, salons, and friendships with artists with a visit to the CJM's exhibition Seeing Gertrude Stein: Five Stories. Designed for high school teachers, the workshop includes private gallery tours, hands-on

      BRIEF Description: Have FUN with your friends while learning all about the world of performance and Shakespeare from trained teaching artists. Two-week camps meet weekdays, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. (optional aftercare until 5:30 p.m.) in convenient locations. Shakespeare Camp provides training in Shakespeare’s rich language, acting and improvisation, voice and movement technique, stage combat, set and costume design and more! On the final day of the session, campers stage a mini-Shakespeare play for family and friends followed by a celebratory cast party. Camp accommodates both those who are new to performance as well as those with experience.
