    Message 1 of 2 , May 10, 2006
Rosario Ramirez (2nd Grade Parent), Judy Diaz (1st Grade Parent), &
Julia Sobalvarro (2nd Grade Parent), are also running together for
the role of President. We have worked together during in the past
and are individual talents compliment each other.

Rosario was the ELAC president for two years and with her organizing
experience we would like to increase the involvement of parents at
PTA meetings, classrooms and fundraisers. Julia Sobalvarro has been
involved as Room Parent Coordinator and the PTA Executive Board for
the past two years and with her experience she will be able to guide
us on how to better serve the community and how to run a successful
PTA. Judy Díaz has been the School Secretary for the past five
years and SSC member for the past year. With Judy's experience as
School Secretary we hope to be able to create a bridge of
communication between parents and BV staff.

Our vision is to focus on fundraising and communication. The PTA is
a fundraising group and we hope to bring ALL of the Buena Vista
Community together to support our childrens' education by involving
more parents in PTA meetings and fundraisers. We believe that with
our different talents and experience we will bridge and build
      community at Buena Vista.
