Winter 2013 Enter the 2013 Ezra Jack Keats
The Contemporary Jewish Museum (CJM), San Francisco Unified School District, San Francisco Public Library (SFPL), and the Ezra Jack Keats Foundation are pleased to announce the second year of the Bay Area Ezra Jack Keats Bookmaking Competition! The competition promotes the art of original bookmaking in the classroom and invites students in grades K–12 to design, write, and create their own books. Winning books are showcased and winners receive prizes! Submissions are due February 14, 2014. Attend one of these professional development sessions to learn more about the competition and to learn fun, satisfying bookmaking techniques for the classroom. Workshops include refreshments and a resource packet.
