Hello Neighbors! Susan Hayes on Tillman Avenue has graciously
offered her home for the Hanchett Park Heritage Project "Spring Into
Please join us on Sunday, May 18th to find out all of the wonderful
things that we are working on in the neighborhood: 501c3 non-profit
status, Hanchett Park Home Tour, full-scale model of the historic
Hanchett Park entrance pillars, concepts for new/proposed Tillman
Park, traffic calming islands, and more....
This event has three main objectives: 1) to help raise awareness of
these projects in our neighborhood; 2) to collect your feedback on
these projects; and 3) to recruit volunteers for specific projects.
We are asking you to get involved, at whatever level you are
comfortable. So, donating 5 hours of time/labor, donating
specialized services, telling 2 neighbors about the pillars
reconstruction and plans for the Tillman Park, planting a tree,
donating toward the construction of the historic pillars,
whatever... if each person gives just a little, we'll be that much
closer to accomplishing our goals. You can volunteer in groups, or
work individually at home on specific tasks/projects.
We need as many people as possible to come on May 18th. Once you
