Seeing this post reminded me of what I saw while looking through
Bukowsko records books at the USC (gmina Bukowsko) last month. There
were several records which were clearly sent to the USC from the U.S.
Example: St. John's church notified USC that Magdelene Jaworska z domu
Zytka died Oct. 4, 1924 in Chicago, IL. etc.
It might be a nice thing to do to send copies of the obits, perhaps with
a short translation in Polish of the particulars of the obit, to the USC
in Bukowsko attn: Janina Nowaczek. Then the clipping and/or translation
could be placed in the current record books for the appropriate village.
