Polish Museum of America Library Book Sale
- This Saturday, September 14, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and
Sunday, September 15, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. the Polish
Museum of America Library is having its annual duplicate book sale.
The Polish Museum of America Library is selling duplicate books in
English and Polish on various Polish subjects, as well as a variety of
books on non-Polish subjects. If you love books, this is the place to
purchase them at discount prices. Many of these books have been
donated (it's where I send my old copies of research books). It's a
great way to add to your own Polish library. Give a book a home!
The Library will also sell traditional Polish items: paintings,
crafts, and compact discs.
The funds raised by the sale will help finance necessary improvements
to the 98-year-old library and ensure its continued success. The books
and items sold by the Library come primarily from donations. The PMAL
cares greatly about all books, and, thus they need new homes. The
books not sold during the Sept. 14-15 event will be available for
purchase at discounted prices in the library through September 30,
2013, during regular work hours.
The library is open Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4
p.m., and Wednesdays from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. If you need any more
information, please do not hesitate to call us at 1-773-384-3352 ext.
101. Please help spread the word!
Thank you for your patronage,
