      That's very helpful, Jan, both your translation and the Latin guide. My
      current knowledge of Latin comes mostly from French courses and heavy
      duty vocabulary training in high school.

      I would gladly rescan the original but the original is in Bukowsko. I
      thank you very much for your help.

      Ignorant question -- were Greek Catholic priests allowed to have kids in
      1873? I think Silvester was the parish priest.
