I would suggest a Woodworm beetle - certainly not any of the suggestions posted on Flikr.   Matt ________________________________ From: maeluk2008

This insect was found in my bedroom and I would like to know if its a pest and what it is I am dealing with. I am in Cheshire in England. It is a tiny insect that seems to appear in the evenings here.Thank you for any information you can provide.

Looking more like *Stegobium paniceum* to me - the good old Bread/biscuit beetle. Harmless to wood - but a beast in your biscuits . Stuart
