        Size:
        Adult female is relatively longer in carapace length than male. (due to difference in age, the relative difference have no basis of comparision except in a population pool). Reveres is true in Tityus trinitatus, Liocheles australasiae and a few other species.
        The ratio between the length of the carapace and sternite VII is lower in the female. ie the female is also wider.

          Dear Jersey,

           

          Je suis ingénieur agronome (spécialiste en faune et flore tropicale) ayant plus de 10 ans d’expériences professionnelles en inventaire forestier, de la faune mammalienne, des arthropodes et en conservation des ressources biologiques. Membre du sous-groupe de travail “Odonata Specialist Group” de l’Union Internationale pour la Conservation de la Nature (IUCN) et de plusieurs associations (groupe de travail de validation des documents d’étude d’impact sur l’environnement à l’Agence béninoise pour l’environnement, Association Béninoise d’Evaluation Environnementale, etc.) de la conservation des ressources naturelles. A côté de cela j’ai participé à tous les travaux de recherche (en mer et sur le long des côtes) sur les cétacés (baleines et dauphins) et les tortues marine de l’Atlantique du Bénin.

           

          Je pourrai vous aider pour les scorpions d’Afrique de l’Ouest.

           

          Vive la recherche sur les arthropodes.
