Brigitte Nielsen's Punchbag

I think Brigitte Nielsen has been under-appreciated here in the Anglo-Saxon West. Her performances in films have been misunderstood. She should have been a couple of hundred films by now.

You have heard of exploitation films. My theory about them is that they seldom if ever deliver because the film makers don't know how to exploit their audience.

Anyway Brigitte Nielsen has been all over European television in the last twenty years but European material seldom makes it to the small screen in the UK and the American colonies. There is a reason for that. Europeans are too intellectual for the plodding Anglo-Saxon mind.

Hollywood likes to put strong but unrealistic women in modern genre films, but such women are not truly threatening to the red-blooded, raw meat eating armchair warriors of the Yankee Heartlands. Brigitte Nielsen, on the other hand, threatens them in more ways than one. She is, in effect, too much woman for any single Americano.
