[BSW] Note from our president + October 1st meeting + Misc.
- Hi All,
It's Robin Everly, your current President. Nominations for BSW Secretary
and Vice President will be discussed at the October 1 meeting. We really
need people willing to take on these positions. If you have been on the
fence about serving in the Botanical Society and have said to yourself
"maybe in the future ?". Well, THAT THE FUTURE IS NOW - we need for YOU
to get involved.
Please talk to any officer, me, Vicki Funk or Paul Peterson on what is
involved in serving the organization. The more people involved, the less
work for several people who have been keeping the group going for a number
of years by handling SI Security, bring refreshments to the monthly
meetings, organizing outings and hikes, arranging for speakers, reserving
a table at Elephant & Castle, setting up the room for the presentation,
etc.--the list goes on and I'm thankful to everyone who has helped me out
in the last 2 years.
See ya in October
