If you were listening to www.villageradio.com from 7 to 10 PM Monday, you first enjoyed a "Back to School" segment, featuring the sounds of some great College acapella groups!  My cohost for the evening, Rich Pearson, will begin a new career teaching in Bloomfield High School next week!  We followed that by a mix of barbershop choruses and quartets, men's womens, and mixed, and played some requests....Stu Wineberg from "across the pond" (in England), a faithful listener and chatroom chum despite the time difference, always wants to hear "ANYTHING by the Boston Common!"

Other chatroom faithfuls included Ron "barvazoni" in Illinois, and Cindi "thbeatgozon".  We also had Sandi and David Wright listening, so in their honor, I played some of my favorite Ambiance arrangements..then some of my favorite David Wright arrangments that he did for OTHER people...then it was time to play a request of someone ELSE's arrangement FOR David,  and then play our closing song of the night!

(I also co-hosted on Marty Israel's "Tuesday Night Swipes" this week...but that's HIS story...)
