Stoneham Theatre is seeking opening vocal acts to perform a holiday musical medley prior to either or both of two forthcoming holiday offerings, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever and Sister's Christmas Catechism.

Stoneham Theatre is asking that the opening acts for Catechism be limited to groups of no more than 8 people as group members will be incorporated into the show and work with the actor.

Performances for Pageant begin on November 26 and run through December 23; Catechism opens December 1st and runs through December 19.

      Brief descriptions of each play:

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever is a comic romp about a small-town Christmas Pageant that gets hijacked by the roughest, loudest, rowdiest kids in town.  And just when the Pageant seems beyond all repair, the true spirit of Christmas is discovered in the most unexpected of ways.  Written by Barbara Robinson and directed by Chris Carcione.

Sister's Christmas Catechism: The Mystery of the Magi's Gold is the latest installment in the Late Nite Catechism series, a hilarious unconventional tutorial in Catholic holiday traditions.  Sister's Christmas Catechism is an interactive opportunity to dive in and solve the real mysteries of the season.  Perfect for those who need to know where the Magi's gold is actually hidden.  Conceived by Maripat Donovan along with Jane Morris and Marc Silvia.

Interested parties should contact Carol Dempsey, Carol@..., 781-279-7885 x105.
