An old question I had and asked on two occasions (
      http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BoundaryPoint/message/1744 &
      http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BoundaryPoint/message/3330 ) I think is
finally solved: Does the municipality of Brussels not only split the
municipality of Elsene in two, but also that of Sint Gillis? The
answer seems to be yes. See http://geowebgis.irisnet.be/webgis/ ,
tick the box "adres" and fill in the address:
      Straat: Louizalaan
      Nummer: 10
      Gemeente: Sint-Gillis
(If you choose the Francophone interface:
      Tick "Adresse"
      Rue: Avenue Louise
      Numéro: 10
      Commune: Saint-Gilles)
The thick brown lines are municipal boundaries. The block comprising
the houses at Gulden-Vlieslaan (Av. de la Toison-d'Or) 51 to 53A,
Louizaplein (Pl. Louise) 1 to 2A, and Louizalaan (Av. Louise) 2 to 20
(even), and no. 22 partly, form an exclave of Sint Gillis.
