i am using avr studio. the only issue i am facing is when i debug the code. its says that int not in scope which i'm guessing implies that there is something wrong with one of the function loops. if u have any suggestions as to what i can do would really appreciate it.

type def and char are not giving any issues at all. the only place where the int declaration is giving a problem in the entire program is in the following statement of the main program :- " int main(void) "

not a is NOT C COMPILER,, dear for such instuticon as type def and char you will have to use c complier like keil or in avr studio also c complier is also used.

ok,,,,,, and can you please tell what type colour lcd you are using

      hi

i have the magazine as a reference... havent tried the source code
given with that as i have got a different program which was
specifically coded for a MEGA32... the problem is that with AVRSTUDIO
compiler i'm gettin errors for statements such as typedef char( error:
undefined macro for both typedef and char) and ponyprog compiler just
isnt compiling the program neither is it displaying any errors.
i thought of using the code provided with the efy mag as a last resort...
thanks for mentioning it though. if u can provide some solution to
this problem i would really appreciate it.
