The story is about a young, bachelor king in the medieval world of 882
A.D somewhere on the continent of Europe. (It is before the Crusades.)
Anyway, the king is young, rash, and inexperienced but is beginning to
see that his short reign is about to end. His people are infertile
and may rebel. He does not trust his advisers -who think a peasant
woman who sees the future can advise him on how to save his throne.

I loved this book and just wanted to tell someone! My sister read it
too, and she thinks its a barn burner! It really makes you appreciate
the time we live in now! It is for mature audiences, though-(sex and
