      Check out this YouTube clip of a traditional Taiwan letterpress shop that started in 1969. It is thought to be one of the last.


      With 3000 to 6000 different characters, finding the right character is a
      challenge. Looking for a
      Chinese character is like looking up a word in a dictionary...and for the untrained, takes more than awhile.

      It makes handsetting type from a 26 letter alphabet seem like child's play and the use of  photopolymer plates a dream.
