      The Getty is presenting a four-day artists' book conference organized
      by the Southern California Chapter of the Art Libraries Society of
      North America (http://www.arlisna.org/) in May. There will be a panel
      discussion on May 24 at 4 p.m. in the Museum Lecture Hall
      (reservations required) on artists' books, moderated by Susan M.
      Allen, chief librarian and associate director of the Getty's research
      institute. The panel discussion marks the opening of the institute's
      exhibition, "The Artist Turns to the Book," running May 24 through
      September 11.
