      Announcing a new pop-up workshop for the
      Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles, California
      June 4, 2005 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

      The pop-up workshop for Saturday, April 2, 2005
      enrolled 25 people and started a waiting list;
      since the waiting list got so long, MOCA decided
      to offer another workshop in June.

      Instructor: Kitty Maryatt, Director of the Scripps College Press,
      Assistant Professor of Art at Scripps College, Claremont, CA,
      and principal owner of Two Hands Press.

      $35 MOCA members
      $50 non-members

      A demonstration and pop-up bookmaking session for adults
      in conjunction with the Carlos Garaicoa exhibition
      at MOCA Pacific Design Center. After touring the exhibition,
      class members learn basic pop-up techniques and complete
      a simple project. Cuban artist Carlos Garaicoa has created
      as part of his oeuvre architectural pop-ups,
      which you can see at the exhibit.
