      Regarding the cabin forward hatch- It was built basically to plan with the addition of a slanted sill on top. Basically it is hinged on the top (teak frame on plexi) and I used a rubber gasket between the plexi and the plywood to keep it tight. A hole is drilled through the plexi and the ply bulkhead string will go to acleat inside cabin. Seems pretty tight...
      Tiller is larger tham plan specs, one pcs. of carved rosewood with 2mm stainless plates screwed to either side of cheeks.
