      If you are considering a Brick, go to PDRacer.com and check out the modified brick specked out there.  Over 300 have been built and registered.  Can even get plans for an advanced one from Michael Storer at Duckworks for cheap.  One thing they must have over a Brick is flotation to allow self rescue...  And these boats have participated in some long endurance "races".

      Thanks for all the good info on finding plans. I think I am going to build a Brick so I can get myself into this and not try to build something too complicated like the folding schooner. I really like that design but I think I will take the advise given and try something small and simple. Besides 3 sheets of cheap plywood isn't much to invest if I don't like doing this kind of thing after all.

      By the way, the Pycost and Henway was a joke from Junior High. I thought it would lighten up everyone's day with all the names of these Boldger boats being what they are.
