This eye also is what I use to hang the boat in my garage. My JB is about 15 years old, and I will just build another when it finally falls apart. They are wonderful boats.

      Certainly, the stability of the wide bottom of Junebug
      should be useful when climbing in and climbing out,
      and/or for tending an anchor, etc..
