Currently, I have a 15’ flat iron skiff that is about 80% complete and I
hope to get her in the water this summer.

So relieved to know your Micro found a home, Brian. I was starting to
      fear
that I'd have to make the trek to Mississippi from the frozen shores of
Fundy to recue her (not that a trip to the sunny south would require
      much in
the way of an excuse about now). Currently in the midst of rescitating a
sadly neglected Micro I adopted a year and a half ago. My wife is fully
supportive of the project, but would probably be less than enthusiastic
      at
the prospect of another Micro waif adoption. However, picking up a work
      in
progress certainly would have appeal over repairing the ravages of 5
      years
of outdoor deteriation in N.S., esp. the damage standing rain water,
      melted
snow, and rotting leaves can do. After months of grinding an rot removal
sugery, true reconstuction is finally underway. Amazing what a boost to
      my
spirits and energy that brings to the process. I'm optimistic (once
      again)
      of a spring (2003) re-launch. I hope your Micro's new guardian will
      enjoy
your generous gift, both in construction and pocket cruising. I'm not
      great
at photo chronicling projects, but will try to at least post a photo of
      the
finished restoration and re-launch. All the best.

jeb, on the fine line of epoxy curring temperatures in his boat shop on
      the
      on-again-off-again thawing shores of Fundy
