I'll quote Phil on this and share her lines in MAIB.  Her shape is one of those exercises that make his work to interesting.  Instead of going 'standard-issue' whatever, he figures another approach which clearly worked and was executed without dramatics and without any ship-yard to support the construction...

That bow intrigued me in the photos, Susanne. A way of making a desirable shape more manageable in steel? I look forward to your piece in MAIB on it.

I would assume that our Chinese friends had/have (?) much larger leeboarders... But, perhaps not.
Slight arc bottom with hard-chine but a regular vee-bow with actually an intriguing inverted Vee intersection where 'lower' bow meets upper bow flare, visible from her forward quarters.
I'll do a MAIB piece, with Phil's perspective on this design.

This has to be the largest leeboarder in the world, or nearly so.

Is the hull flat bottomed with linear keel, and a rounded chine like with Resolution?

She is designed for them, depends on them for lateral plane, but they have yet to be built and hung.

Asking a far out question: Does Phouma have leeboards?
