The film, directed by David Wain and co-written by David Wain and Ken Marino (The State, Wet Hot American Summer) is a comedy spoof examining ten stories of what happens when each of the Ten Commandments is broken. The soundtrack features original songs and score by former Shudder to Think frontman Craig Wedren (Wet Hot American Summer, High Art).The Ten is an innovative comedy that weaves ten stories into one. Each of the ten vignettes tells the story of the Ten Commandments in a unique way, interconnecting until they reach their climactic conclusion: a classic song and dance cavalcade ala 1940s Hollywood, performed by the cast.A rocking ride through the mind of one of todays most creative composers, Craig Wedren spans numerous musical genres to connect the ten vignettes, each one reflecting the breaking of a different one of the Ten Commandments. In addition to the eclectic mix of music, the soundtrack features dialogue from the all-star cast that includes Paul Rudd, Winona Ryder, Famke Jensen, Oliver Platt, Gretchen Mol, Jessica Alba and others.
