The Roaring Mouse:  A Bardic Challenge for Cleftlands Standard Bearers Tournament

The roar of  tiny Cleftlands has always sounded loud and clear when the Dragon thunders.

Cleftlands may be dimensionally challenged (that means "small") as baronies go, but is truly mighty in deed. Cleftlands warriors loom large on the field of battle, whether it is commanding an army or holding a shield wall. Cleftlands Kings and Queens have proudly served the dream through many generations.

Whether by wit or wisdom, virtue or cunning, skill or strength, nothing is better than a good tale of the small and humble winning against all odds.

Come forward then, ye bards and fire-breathers, ye songsters and dancers, ye makers of jest and makers of mighty tales, and compete for the famed Mouth of the Roaring Mouse prize:  prepare a piece or pieces that honors those who conquer in the face of the impossible and present it to the assembled at Standard Bearers!

You may employ any performance medium (song, dance, story, theater, physical performance, etc.) and the piece(s) must be less than 5 minutes total.  The challenge will take place after the completion of the tourneys and before court and feast.

NOTE: Unilke other competitive activities on this day, participants in the Roaring Mouse Challenge will not be obliged to compete on behalf of Cleftlands for the rest of the year!
