Group Description

The Black Native American Association (BNAA) is an intertribal group of people with African-American and Native American heritage who organized in the late summer of 1992, and rooted in the San Francisco Bay Area.

**Due to the recent loss of our leader Don Little Cloud Davenport, BNAA is in transition in its leadership.

Due to the adverse impact of past and present governmental policies, the BNAA does not mimic "blood quantum police" tactics. We do not require proof of tribal enrollment or recognition. Our membership is comprised of people of all ages and from many walks of life.

Our main site WAS www.bnaa.org. This yahoo group is just for communication. Visit the Facebook group Black Native American Association. Become involved!
