This is set in an extremely bizarre alternate dimension of Red Dwarf. Disregards no episodes except Only The Good, the finale episode of Series 8...
The crew is still canaries(if they ever got out of canaries, only seen the first 4 eps of Series 8) and still in the Tank. They've managed to get themselves 6 more years. Erk. Here's the reason why this is bizzarre -- The Cat is female, and obsessed with Lister. Rimmer is involved with Alex(andra) Celeste... Nigel ("I'm Nigel. I'm nice...") has fooled around with Kryten's hard drive and Kryten has gotten the idea he's a BAD boy and has a major attitude... He's even carting a leather jacket, the poor boy. He stole it from Knot's brother, and made him his.. in prison terms... his "bitch". Then there's even more characters who you guys'll put in! There's even a new girl in the canaries who Lister'll find awfully familiar -- in more ways than one!
