BITS2MSPhD is an initiative for BITSians, who are interested in pursuing Masters and Doctoral programs from worlds leading universities. This group aims to connect prospective students with BITSians who are attending/have attended the world's top graduate programs. This 4000+ strong group is India's largest such endeavor towards higher education by alumni of any institute.
This group provides:

Information about universities' programs and research.
Funding/financing related information
GRE and TOEFL preparation advice
Resume and Statement of Purpose(SOP) advice, with samples
Advice from BITS alumni who have made it to the top universities

You MUST provide the following information in your subscription request (We do not accept subscription requests by e-mail):

Name
ID Number
Degree pursued at BITS
Campus attended
Year of finishing/joining degree


You DO NOT need to create a yahooID exclusively for joining BITS2MSPhD.
Follow these steps to create a yahoo alias, that along with your gmail/facebook account would suffice.

Click on Join the group. You will be directed to yahoo login page.
Dont click on ‘Create a new account’. Sign In using Google.
Select your Gmail account in the pop-up window.
Fill in your details. Click Submit.
You will be directed to create your yahoo alias name(your “nickname” in yahoo world). Verify your gmail account.
Congratulations! Your yahoo profile is created. Click on View BITS2MSPhD. Click on ‘Join the Group’. Fill in your information and submit your membership request.
On approval, you will receive a mail in your gmail account. You have access to the group. Access our old threads, files or databases, using your gmail account to login in yahoo groups!
