- Feb 9, 2012A 1971 article by Eduard Lipinski states that "early Jewish tradition" identified Birkat Ram (in the Golan Heights) as one of the Tehum rabba of Genesis 7:11 and 8:2. But Lipinski references no Jewish texts for this claim. Does anyone know what this might be?
I am aware of the traditions making Birkat Ram having subterraneous connection to the Jordan and Banias spring (e.g., Mekhilta to Exod 17:14), but this would be something else. Thanks.
