The Mayor's Office of Base Reuse and Real Estate Development
and the Redevelopment Agency invite you to participate in a
community meeting to discuss the planning efforts underway for
the Integrated Development of Hunters Point Shipyard and Candlestick
Point as it relates to the arts at the Shipyard.

      goals for the meeting

The planning for the integrated development of Hunters Point Shipyard
and Candlestick Point into a new, mixed-use community is underway.
The creation of an arts district at the Shipyard, which includes
permanent artists' studios and land for a community arts facility,
is an important component of the development plan.

Please join the Mayor's Office and the Redevelopment Agency in a
review of the planning work completed to date for the integrated
development plan, a discussion of the community's vision for
the Shipyard arts district including the key opportunities and
constraints, and potential arts district land use plan alternatives.
