- That was installed as part of the SF Redevelopment Agency Model Block program. I went to the first meeting in 2005. They added 90 degree parking in some stretches to make up for loss of parking spots, I think with a net gain on parking.Multiple agencies were involved.Chris Buck

I'd support speed humps at the stop signs or intersections, all respectful drivers are slowing down for a stop anyway, I don't think there would be much difference in noise or travel times, just safety.Mattps: Good news is, they no longer drive 35 mph down the Mendell sidewalks, a common site 15 years ago. (and it's not just the cars on the sidewalks stopping that.)
