      Description
      Cahill Contractors is soliciting subcontractor bids for all trades except Earth Shoring. The project includes the construction of 60 affordable housing units including 1BR, 2BR, and 3BR units. The superstructure will be 4 stories of Type V wood construction over 1 story of Type I concrete construction. The first level includes a parking garage, property management offices, a common room, and a kitchen. The upper level housing common areas will also include lounges, laundry rooms, and an open-air elevator lobby at level 5. There are landscaped courtyards at Level 1 and at the podium level. The developers are AMCAL and Young Community. SBE, MBE, WBE, and LBE firms are encouraged to submit bids. The project has a 50% SBE goal with first consideration to Bayview Hunter''''s Point area SBEs.
