Group Description

Beringia Birders is a forum for birders to share information about birds and birding in Alaska's far west and north, from Adak to Kaktovik, and points between, including the Seward Peninsula.

If you are just joining, note that postings of new members are automatically moderated to screen inappropriate postings so there may be a delay on your first message(s) appearing.

If you reply to a posting, your message will go only to the original sender. To reply to the group (encouraged if others might benefit from the information), you'll need to enter or paste the group e-mail.

Please post information on your Beringia area birding to the list so that others may enjoy and learn what is being seen.

The Nome Convention and Visitors Bureau enters Nome area bird sightings reported on their visitor center board into a database that is accessible from the Beringia Birders home page. Check it out! You do need to be a group member and be signed in to access.
