Jason's recent revision of this group lead to some confusing but important name changes...and you might want to make changes to your databases as soon as possible.
Here is the summary
Past L. birkmanni can remain as L. birkmanni (these are now considered just yellow legged forms of the newly redifined L. birkmanni species males).
Past L. macoupinense should all be changed to L. birkmanni (these now include all the brown-legged forms)
Past L. divergens should all be changed to L. macoupinense.
The "past identification" of these species should be noted in your database so that people know that even though you identified it in 1972 you updated the name correctly in 2013.
